The TS RAPID™ Crypto / Giardia / Entamoeba Combo Rapid Test is a rapid immunochromatographic assay developed for the qualitative detection of Cryptosporidium spp., Giardia lamblia, and Entamoeba histolytica antigens in human fecal samples. These protozoan parasites are among the most common causes of gastrointestinal infections worldwide, leading to symptoms such as diarrhea, abdominal cramps, nausea, and dehydration. Result Interpretation Guide
Positive: Entamoeba histolytica, Giardia lamblia and Cryptosporidium two colored lines will appear: one in the control line region (C) and another in test line region 1. Negative: Result is indicated when only one colored line appears in the control region (C) and no lines appear in any of the test regions. If the control line fails to appear, the result is invalid. This may occur due to insufficient sample volume or procedural errors. In such cases, the test should be repeated with a new cassette. If the issue persists, testing with that batch should be discontinued and the distributor should be contacted.
